Passage Morillons: a new neighbourhood under construction at Les Nations
At the exit of the new tunnel des Nations, Passage Morillons is emerging with the ambition of offering a living and working environment between greenery and the city centre in the heart of international Geneva. Combining architectural elegance, sustainability and flexibility, this new neighbourhood on a human scale promises to be a prime address from 2026.
A new district available by early 2026
Passage Morillons – an ambitious, multi-faceted project
Passage Morillons stands out for its vision of a dynamic, balanced place to live. With three modern buildings under construction, the project offers quality housing, commercial and administrative surfaces for rent, all surrounded by green spaces and landscaped to encourage exchange and interaction.
The project includes:
1 – Housing:
85 apartments in buildings A and C are designed to accommodate a broad mix of residents, representative or the International Geneva. Passage Morillons aims to offer a harmonious living environment where every resident will find comfort and quality of life. Commercialisation of these homes is not yet available and will begin in late 2025.
2 – Commercial spaces are now available for rent on the first floor and mezzanine floors of the buildings.
The area is currently short of retail space and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Passage Morillons building complex, which will offer around 2,300 m² of new retail and service space.
3 – Offices available for rent now in Building B
In response to the growing demand for modern workspaces, the complex will offer 3,000 m² of office space over 7 floors. These spaces are designed to be adaptable to today’s business needs, up to 430 m² per floor, while offering a stimulating, well-connected working environment.
Modern, sustainable architecture
One of the great assets of Passage Morillons is its contemporary architecture, which combines aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. The complex is aiming for a Minergie certification, a demanding standard for energy efficiency.
The buildings are designed to fit in with the Petit-Saconnex district, which is in the process of being transformed in a sustainable way, and to meet the challenges of ecological transition. Passage Morillons is just a stone’s throw away from the Jardin de Nations, which features vegetable gardens, a refreshment bar, relaxation areas, exchange workshops and a cultural space that is unique in Switzerland, and which promises to evolve in the future. The whole complex revolves around well-being and living well in Geneva, combining green areas, conviviality and practicality.
A friendly, connected place to live, hence the name “Passage Morillons”
Passage Morillons is designed as a place to live and meet people. Outdoor spaces will be designed to encourage exchanges between residents, with relaxing areas, green spaces, a restaurant with terrace and infrastructures for pedestrians and cyclists.
The district is also very well connected to Geneva’s public transport network, which will be further strengthened with the forthcoming arrival of the tram 15 extension. Located at the exit of the tunnel des Nations, Passage Morillons is also extremely well served by car, between the airport, the city center and neighboring towns.
Serving the community in the heart of the Nations district
Passage Morillons will not only enhance the attractiveness of the Nations and Petit-Saconnex districts, but will also actively contribute to the region’s economic development. By creating modern retail and office spaces, the project will help create jobs and stimulate local dynamism. Local shops will provide essential services, while offices will attract businesses and workers who will benefit from this innovative and well-connected environment.
Towards the Petit-Saconnex of the future
Scheduled to open in the 1st half of 2026, Passage Morillons is a resolutely forward-looking project. It combines modern elements with infrastructures designed to enhance the quality of life of its users, whether residents, employees or visitors. This project illustrates Petit-Saconnex’s ability to develop and meet the needs of future generations, by creating a place that harmoniously blends urban life, work and leisure.
